Honoring Latino History in Lancaster
The Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was honored to participate in the panel discussion “Latino History: From Lancaster County to the Smithsonian,” hosted by LancasterHistory and its community partners.
The event served as a powerful reminder that history is strongest when all voices are included. Through meaningful dialogue and shared reflection, the panel highlighted the contributions of Latinos to Lancaster County and the importance of preserving these stories within museums and historical narratives.
A full room, engaged conversation, and a shared commitment to honoring legacy and representation made clear how community understanding and progress move forward by creating space to listen, learn, and uplift voices that have too often gone unheard.
LHCC is grateful to LancasterHistory and its partners for fostering thoughtful dialogue and for their dedication to preserving inclusive history that reflects the richness of our community.
