Founder & President
Esther Aurora DeWoody is an executive leader and community advocate dedicated to advancing Hispanic and Latino businesses across Lancaster County. As Founder and President of the Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she provides strategic leadership, governance oversight, and long-term vision to support inclusive economic growth.
Erica C. Hernandez
Co-Founder & Vice President
Erica Hernandez serves as Co-Founder and Vice President of the Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, supporting outreach, community engagement, and organizational growth. Her work focuses on building strong relationships, increasing visibility for member businesses, and fostering collaboration across the local business community.
Michelle Powers
Executive Assistant
Michelle Powers serves as Executive Assistant to the Founder & President of the Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She provides administrative and operational support by managing communications, coordinating schedules, organizing meetings and events, maintaining organizational records, and assisting with member engagement. Michelle plays an important role in ensuring the Chamber operates efficiently while supporting its mission to connect businesses, empower entrepreneurs, and strengthen communities.

Robin Medis
Secretary
Robin Medis serves as Secretary of the Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, supporting board governance, organizational documentation, and compliance with nonprofit best practices. She brings decades of experience working in union environments, including service in secretarial and board-related roles.
Robin helps ensure accuracy, accountability, and continuity of records, playing a critical role in maintaining strong governance and operational integrity as the Chamber grows.
Luis A. Vazquez
Director of the Board / Senior Advisor
Luis A. Vazquez is a respected community and business leader and the President & CEO of the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He brings extensive experience in nonprofit governance, economic development, and community advocacy, providing strategic insight and guidance to support the Chamber’s mission and growth.
Maria Torres
Treasurer
Finance Professional / Controller
Maria E. Torres is a finance professional and the owner of MT Accounting Services LLC in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She helps business owners keep their financial information organized, up to date, and readily available so they can make informed decisions and focus on growing their organizations.
With experience supporting both small businesses and nonprofit organizations, Maria is passionate about providing reliable financial guidance and building strong relationships within the community. She also serves as Controller at United Way of Lancaster County.
