Celebrating Creativity and Purpose
The Lancaster Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently had the opportunity to meet again with NanaSue Walker and visit several sites of Friendship Community to see their work in action.
The artwork, creativity, and craftsmanship on display reflected the heart of Friendship Community’s mission. Each piece tells a story, and what makes the work especially meaningful is that the art is created by the individuals the organization supports, showcasing their talent, dignity, and purpose in a powerful and authentic way.
The visit also included a meaningful conversation about a potential summer collaboration, reinforcing the importance of mission-aligned partnerships that create opportunity and visibility within the community. LHCC is grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and witness such impactful work firsthand, and looks forward to continued collaboration as we build inclusive and purpose-driven partnerships across Lancaster County.
